Hello, I play at NL5 deep 6max, I have recently admitted to myself that I am a losing player, here is the proof :f_biggrin:

Spoiler

Over the last week, my overall game has improved dramatically. Here are my last 4000 hands I've played, the last drop is me taking a shot at NL10 and making a mistake vs a what seemed to be a maniac player.

Spoiler

So now for my challenge, witch is to simply play 50k hands and establish myself as a winning player. I will mostly be playing 2 tables, I will post up some problem hands I could use advice with and some hands I think are worth sharing, and have a 50k countdown after each session. I will post graphs up after every session.

Thanks for reading. Good luck at the tables! :f_drink:

Peace!

I've been really busy at work this week, so I haven't been able to play much but here is my first session

I haven't played too much due to partying a lot :f_drink:.

Despite having some horrible hands flush's vs flush's, getiing set mined in 3bet pots etc.. I have still managed to make a :profit: :wtf:

Hey RMS, thanks for the info.

I went through a tilt phase on this graph witch is strange because I was winning and I don't seem to tilt to much anymore since putting a lot of work into my mental game. After reading an article from Jared Tendlar based on the inchworm concept it cleared a few clouds and I feel like my game is on a whole new level I am viewing the game in a whole new dimension. I feel good about the next 42k hands :f_cool:.

I have also decided to add a win/loss rate too.

I am feeling that confident in my play I a going to take 2 shots at NL10 with this BR, ill play 4 tables and post up a graph of how I got on afterwards.

Ok so my attempt at NL10 didn't go so great. To begin with everything was going fine, then I made 2 mistakes, and after this hand happened I dropped back to NL 5.

Nice graphs, I hope you can pull it off the challenge. Just be calm and don't tilt I guess

Thank you, I did slightly tilt last night, I broke even in the end so its not too bad.

Here's my overall graph. Note: ive changed the graph to big blinds rather then cash because I played NL10 for a bout 1k hands

I've been reading the mental game of poker and I have been trying to use the inchworm concept, I believe I have been doing it all wrong, I have been setting goals for a session, I that I thought was my back end of my game are in fact just leaks, (obviously I want those out of my game :f_biggrin:) The real back end of my game is for example blind defence, steals and playing vs resteals, or in in my case, squeezing and playing vs the squeeze. as you can clearly see below.

This is also very important, on my old blog when I set it up I was working a lot on my mental game, and at that time I was getting nervous a lot in 3bet pots playing vs 4bets and 4bet pots, now because I have a good idea what im doing in that area, im much more relaxed, and don't get nervous (at least not like I used too).

I sat out and stopped playing to write this before I forgot, I notice that exact similar pattern, in these 2 hands below, witch tells me need to work on my squeezing and playing vs squeeze, I went from crushing the 2 tables to calling station fish, simply because I didn't know what I was doing. I was $35 + after these 2 hands I lost $15 witch made me only $20+, another thing I noticed it sent me on tilt slightly I got looser and called a few bets without thinking, simply recognising this must be a step forward to say the least.

I haven't updated for a while, i have been tilting a lot recently, hopefully i have the answer and have sorted it now though, the huge spike downwards was me playing while i was ill and lost like $100 nvm though live and learn, 3 or 4 times where poker is concerned :f_biggrin:

I have completed this challenge with a 2bb/100 win rate :f_thumbsup:. Saying that has seriously just boosted my confidence in the work I am putting in away from the table, I must be doing something right. I have had some major ups and downs where tilt is concerned, i haven't really experienced good or bad luck, I have felt that it has been neutral, with many mistakes, if anything i would say I've had more good luck. I know I haven't been that active on this challenge. I would like to try this again but ill be a lot more active with it.
