Hi I'm an amateur poker enthusiast from the UK playing micro stakes cash games on various sites for fun.Ive been playing poker as a hobbie on and off for around 15 years.Although i have played very little over the last 5 years or so.But due to some current health issues i have lots of free time on my hands. So i decided to return to poker and set myself a challenge of beating the micros. The challenge will be attempted on GG poker and the initial challenge is to begin at 2nl with a $60 bankroll and make it to 25nl with $750

:diamond: Starting Br = $60
:diamond: 30 buy-in bankroll strategy
:diamond: 10 buy in shots at 30 buy ins
:diamond: Challenge complete = 25nl-$750
Current bankroll = $60.54
Target for 5nl = $150

Thanks for taking the time to read my challenge thread.

Welcome in the challenge!
With your shot strategy sounds like there is a big chance that this will go very fast, so I am putting on my seatbelt.
Will you count with any leaderboard money or just play as you go?

Any leaderboard RB or bonuses will be included in my bankroll as winnings and count towards the challenge although i'm doing it on GG so the RB might not be that much.If the challenge goes well ill be including 25nl and 50nl hopefully in to a second part of the challenge but i just wanted to break it down in to smaller challenges that can be more easily completed.I think if i set off again with it being 2nl to 50nl i might lose focus and not stick to it but being to 25nl i think its more easily achievable in a decent time frame. Thanks for the interest

My intention was to call a river bet until :f_ugly: , not sure i need to be checking the turn though i guess i can just keep betting until raised then reassess.I'm probably losing value from Kx on these type boards by checking.

I think its played ok maybe i can hero call given i block JT but i think at 2nl you just have to accept laying down these marginal hands even though you know villains are up to all sorts.Villains line doesn't make sense for having a better hand on the turn that checks (maybe some Qx) but the Qx dont make much sense with the river line. It's kind of a fishy line by villain that doesnt make to much sense but i don't think i can do that much against it (well apart from hero call) maybe its an easier call than i think not to sure.

Oh that pain!
I didn't think that AA was likely -- definitely possible, but his range is very wide, so his hand was well disguised.

Called because of the price i'm getting maybe i should learn to get away from these still.I couldn't bring myself to bluffing the river even though i know where im at in the hand at that point i just don't trust people to fold AK.
