Good luck to you both :). You two certainly have the advantage that you are able to study together and fix each other's leaks and therefore improve your game quite fast. $400 shouldn't be hard to make in a month, I wish that you wouldn't hit a downswing anytime soon though, because that might mess your plans up a lot :(. I also hope that you won't lose motivation for poker or isolate yourself from the outside world, that would be pretty bad :(. Again, I wish you best of luck and I'll follow this blog with interest :).

400$ is about the average monthly salary around here Gerv (Romania, EU member since 2007). If I will be able to make 2000$ for example I'll make more money then both my parents.

Week #1 - June/09. Dandycal

Hello everyone,

First let me thank all of you for the great support, we really appreciate it. It's also good to hear there are other Brazilians out there

Now, to answer your posts briefly:
$400 is quite enough over here if you leave out all fancy tastes. We are sharing a pretty small flat and we can't afford to eat out at the moment, so we have to cook ourselves =D. It's only one PC for both of us, we fixed up our schedule and we have about 8hrs a day each. That means we will be putting in a lot of volume, especially me with SSS (I need that =D). So far I've been doing an average of nearly 4K daily, but as I move to NL50 I'll have to dedicate a little more time to reviewing hands and studying, and decrease the multi-tabling.

Here is my graph for June so far. As you can see my EV is way above my real winnings so I expect to be paid back in my next sessions.

But isn't NL25 a bit low for 700$ BR?
I know you want to be on a safe side, but still on NL50 that's still 70BI.
