By now, you may have heard of this unknown Swedish player taking the high stakes tables on Full Tilt Poker by storm: Isildur1.

Isildur1's match against Patrik Antonius made history by generating the biggest ever pot in online poker. Also, he is well-known for his constant matches against durrrr.

What do you think of this new contender for the nosebleed stakes? Will he be a common sight in the months or years to come or will he vanish as unexpected as he came? Discuss!

One way or another excellent publicity stunt for FTP... "unknown pwning the pros"...

pfffft what a luckbox!!

Nah i dunno, wierd for him to just come out of nowhere, anyway super high variance at those stakes, maybe he wont be so good after 200k hands

The high stakes reg's seem to be enjoying the action. I suspect it's because they see weakness in Isildur1's game and want to 2, 4, 8 table him to get the monies fast! Isildur1's days are numbered if this madness continues. 8 HU tables vs. Durrrr, Ivey, and Antonius at the same is insane! Fun to watch though...

I think if he sticks to NLHE, he should still be good. PLO on the otherand, is his downfall. He still seems to have a small edge on durrrr, but not on Ivey/PA overthere.

If its 1v1, the more tables there are, the more edge he's got- based on my obv. so far. But against all 3 of them at the same time, thats just trouble.

now he's playing 3 tables with PA and 3 tables with Ziigmund all PLO. crushing PA and on one table with ziigmund he has ~800K, so I think he knows how to play PLO

YOU ARE HITLER...WE HAVE ALREADY DISCUSSED THIS LMAO!!

Ihufa is Hitler!

You guy's shouldn't talk trash about him tbh. because his bankroll is bigger then the whole english community combined lol.

Obviously he knows how to play if he's playing at those stakes. And a heater? you must have missed the Million's of dollars he has lost to -.-

Especially if you look at the 3 hands in the session he lost 2,7M to PA. he had him beat when they went all in everytime and then lost on the turn/river...

Much respect to this guy :f_grin: taking on 3 of the best poker pro's in the world at the same time. I'd like to see you try that and make a profit lol. He loses a million yet he doesn't tilt and keeps playing and ends the sessions with profit this has happened several times already.
