Stealing the blinds is one of my leaks that i am working on.

Ok, so I get the fold equity bit, but how do I know my card's equity preflop?

Try using the PokerStrategy.com Equilator. Enter your hand, select "random" for one opponent and you will find out the percentage of often you have the better hand on the river against any2.

Yeah, but in this case I think he just needs the fold equity (calculated as the chance SB will fold, multiplied by the chance BB folds) and the percentage of the times the steal has to be successful. Meaning when you risk 30 to win 15, it needs to be successful 66.67% of the time, in order for it to be a "even money play". (though in Q1 it says you need 66%, when 66.66666(6)% is closer to 67, so it's slightly less profitable

VPIP = % of times they Voluntarily Put Money In Pot
PFR = % of times the Raise Pre-Flop
AF = Aggression Factor
FSBTS = % of time they Fold the Small Blind to a Steal attempt
3-bSB = % of time they 3-Bet vs a Steal from the Small Blind
FBBTS = % of times they fold the Big Blind to a Steal
3-bBB = % of times they 3-Bet vs a Steal from the Big Blind

A new situation and your fold equity is going south: these two opponents will provide you with as little as 0.45 * 0.55 = 25% fold equity.

You have to be prepared for frequent calls and definitely need a playable hand post-flop. A suitec ace certainly fits this criteria, so this is a spot for an open raise.

With such a fish, its better to raise bigger for value here IMO.
