Yes, I´m reading exactly that book, I think Kybberi said it´s outdated but gives a good basic knowledge.

Yeah, that´s what PLO is great for: to sharpen your mind in blocker/unblockers etc. I´m sure learning PLO will inspire and improve also my NLHE skills and don´t wanna forget about the fun-factor. Even though we play poker for profit but some fun is always nice, isn´t it?

Vorpal has a saying about what tends to happen to your equity in this game, I'm sure you're familiar. Just take it easy. PLO can be a quite entertaining and interesting game, especially if Hold'em is starting to get a little stale. There's definitely some potential in there.

You can try how it works for you but in general when you start to play new format/game it's best to focus purely for that if possible. It won't help learning curve if mixing different ones.

Won´t play PLO on Stars anyway (too many regs), will play it on Party and Titan

Agreed. The funny part is when you play Hold'em again after playing Omahahaha, it feels like you're being cheated out of two hole cards.

I find PLO cash easier to play than tournament, since the equities at the start are so close.

We´re having a pretty nice start

Placed 15th (ITM) in the 1.10 $ PLO 150 $ Gtd. on Party, unfortunately got sucked out with my acies by QQ67r but it´s nice to get ITM in a tourney at all after my horrible run in NLHE

In CG I lost a 0,75 stack altogether, one with KKT9ss vs random hand Q632r, donk called my 3-bet with that hand and got his lucky lucky str8.

Well, ran around break-even and that´s alright for the beginning. I really have to get into CG. Haven´t played CG for a long long long time and I felt pretty strange at the CG-tables In CG there´s a lot to learn and improve, there´s a lot to learn in PLO anyway but especially in CG.

What I also noticed is that Villains are even worse than in NLHE calling with any random hand and you can be happy if they don´t get lucky on the river. So, in PLO you need even more mental strength than in NLHE and you need a WAY tighter BRM for sure! In PLO I play with a very very conservative BRM, not only because it´s very swingy but also cause I´m a beginner.
