Hi All,
I want to document here my effort to add poker as a meaningful hobby to my life. I am living in Prague with my family (wife and two small kids), working in IT, while enjoying my free time playing some volleyball and working out.
After a 5 year break, I started to play NL SH approximately a week ago on PokerStars. I am following the No-limit beginner's course created by confidant91 and will also join the Get Rich or Die Tryin' The Bankroll Challenge.
Usually, my playtime starts at midnight until 2 AM when I really need to get some sleep as my son is up and fully charged for some action at 8 AM ![]()
For now, I am trying to understand the basics and memorize the preflop opening range according to the training. I believe that quality beats quantity, but I might be wrong
(I read that some people are making the profit just from the rake, so I guess in that case the quantity really matters...)
I'll start with NL2 SH
Starting BR: $40
Let's see where this journey will get me.
Thank you for your time and good luck at the tables!
