Might be worth considering buying gold status for. (If you do, do it at the beginning of the month, because it always lasts until the end of the next month. Then you've got 2 months in total which should be enough to go through the videos and take notes.)

Regarding the videos, you recommended I guess those are a little bit too complicated for me now. But when I get my gold status through playing and working on the forum I will definitely watch them.

I don't have many hands at any level to offer solid advice, but what I noticed is that if your game is solid at NL2 then adjusting for NL5 and NL10 is mostly just about adjusting to a game with fewer limpers, better positional awareness and more 3-bets. The post-flop play from opponents is slightly better, but a lot of that comes from facing better ranges from opponents pre-flop.

If you're beating NL2, stick to your game, don't let the bigger buy-in make you play scared, just make sure you stick to your ranges with only very slight adjustments based on table dynamics.

I guess I will stay in NL2 at least until I will reach a safe BR for NL5 ($125) and then I will start taking shots to see what is the next level of play required to beat NL5. Also, I am playing with the money displayed in BB's so a bigger game should not be any issue ♦

Hi there, currently I am playing only on 2 tables at the same time. But I guess soon I will add one more as it is starting to be a little bit boring when playing tight pre-flop. Also, I want to add a HUD soon, but for that, I will need to study a little bit more.

I decided to report progress on a weekly basis (every Monday for now) as it is required in The Bankroll Challenge anyway.

So here it is:

Format: NL2 SH
Hands played: 1560
Profit: $22.09

Overall statistics:
Hands played: 1560
Profit: $22.09 (70.80 bb/100)

Nice results, but keep in mind the sample is small and probably you will not be able to keep 70bb/100 in the long term. Also "maths has no memory", so it doesn't mean that you will get a downswing to make things "fair".

As of the NL5, there is almost no difference, there is more regulars who play tight. But don't wory, they make horrible mistakes.

A tip for when you will be moving up. If you will be playing 3 tables by then - drop back to 2 and play one table of NL5, and another of NL2. When you will be happy with your play and feel confident just switch the second table to NL5, and when you feel good with that, just add 3rd, 4th table etc. Don't just directly open your regular ammount of tables right away when moving up.

Hey there, thx for the advice, I really appreciate it. I will try to shoot at NL5 when I reach BR $100. And if I drop to $80 I will return to NL2. Currently, I am playing 2 tables and still, I can find my self in situations where I am not fast enough with my decision ♦

Regarding the first report, it was a huge hot run. I guess now things are back in normal. I had already 2 sessions where I lost 1,5 buy-ins in each. But still, my BR is slowly rising.

My plan for the next few days will be to add some calling range as for now I did not call pre-flop at all (except pocket pairs for set mining and some hands on BB). That should make the game a lot more fun.

Yes exactly what I want to do :f_thumbsup:. I want to build my game plan very slowly and make sure to test all the changes to understand them. Let's see how it will go.

Props for making the decision to take a break.
So many players would try to "win it back" when they are still reeling from a rough hand.

Like Ramble says, you played it well, and got it in good, so although it is little comfort, it is some consolation.

Remember this hand when you get your own "Ace on the River"
