Hi,
Here's the initial post for my blog about the attempt to re-entering online poker. Like many, I was active in the good old online poker times something like 10 years ago. I played NL FR SSS and got myself up to NL 50 (NL 100 was too ambitious for me), grinding 8-16 tables mainly on PartyPoker. I was very young (18+) and did not play so well but could cash out a nice xx,xxx amount after 2 years, in particular, because of lots of bonuses.
Although online poker is obviously much tougher these days, I considered re-entering online poker, or at least, trying to do so. I don't take it too seriously but just want to try if I can still build up a nice bankroll. I treat it like leveling up in a computer game, nothing more. Initially, I donked a bit with a mid stack, but that got too frustrating, so I go for FR BSS now.
This blog starts with a bankroll challenge. I started 3 weeks ago with 37.52$ that I had left on a PokerStars account at NL 5, and played a little more seriously from beginning of this month.
The goal for this challenge is
* Good bye to NL 5 (reached November 2022)
* Beating NL 10 (seems to be clear since December 2022 at the latest)
* Bankroll up to 1,000$ (first reached January 2023)
Let's see how it goes!
