I'll be playing at ACR Poker.
My schedule is as follows:
Play: 32 hours Tuesday - Wednesday / Friday and Saturday
Study: 8 hours Monday and Thursday
Thought Process Drill Under Pressure (Thursday)

This equates to about 8 hours of play per day and 4 hours of study, 8 hours per week.
As far as I know, this would allow me to earn the extra $50 weekly Beast! bonus.

And the level strategy is:
Mid Stack 50bb
20 - 30 Stack 10NL
12 - 22 Stack 25NL
11- 22 Stack 50NL
11- 20Stack 100NL

Grinding with Purpose: Structure, Struggles, and Small Wins 💪♠️

Hey everyone!

Just dropping in with an update from the grind! I’ve finally built a structured weekly plan to go all-in on this poker journey — not just volume-wise, but also mentally and strategically.

🎯 The Schedule
Right now, my weekly routine looks like this:

🃏 Play: 32 hours/week (Tues–Wed & Fri–Sat) – aiming for 8h/day

📘 Study: 8 hours/week (Mon & Thurs) – focused on leaks, reviews & hand ranges

🧠 Thought Process Drill every Thursday under pressure situations

Let me be honest: it’s been tough. Getting to 8 hours of focused play a day isn’t easy. So far, I’ve hit 6 hours and that already feels like a solid achievement. Step by step! 🐾

But the cool thing? I’m starting to apply what I study — and it’s working! I'm seeing how theory connects with real action, even against decent regs and unpredictable recreational players. That feeling of “aha! I studied this spot!” is 🔥

💼 Strategy Breakdown
I’m running a 50bb mid-stack strategy, adjusting my volume across stakes as follows:

20–30 buy in of 10NL

12–22 buy in of 25NL

11–22 buy in of 50NL

11–20 buy in of 100NL

All of this is being tracked toward unlocking that weekly $50 Beast! bonus. A nice little passive boost just for sticking to the grind.

So yeah, it’s been a bit of a battle with consistency and energy, but I’m in this for the long game — and little by little, it’s coming together. 💪

Weekly Update – The Beast, NL10 and Traveling through Brazil

Yesterday, Friday, The Beast – the cash race promotion at ACR Poker – came to an end. Luckily, I finished in the money! 🎉 That adds $50 USD to the bankroll, always a nice boost. 💸

Right now I’m playing NL10 tables, both 6-max and 9-max, and taking a few shots at NL25 (9-max) to test the waters. 😎

Overall, I’m seeing two main player profiles: tight regs and loose aggressive regs, pretty clearly defined. Adapting to each one is crucial to stay ahead.

📉 This week has been a bit tough, but I did manage to increase my volume, averaging around 6 to 8 hours of play per day. I didn’t study much, though, so this coming week I’ll dive deep into hand reviews.

⚠️ I’m also having a problem with PokerTracker 4 – it’s not reading my hands. That puts me at a disadvantage since most regs probably already have a good read on my style. 😅 Definitely something I need to fix soon!

🗺️ This upcoming week will be intense. I want to grind hard because next week I’ll be traveling again. We’re road-tripping through Brazil, heading up along the coast. Between stops, I usually lose about a day and a half of play, and those weeks are always tougher for getting a paid spot in The Beast.
