I ended playing short third session today. Way too much poker for one day to be honest. But yeah this time got some profit so lets post some positive vibe as well.

Open raised MP, CO and SB call. Decided to check flop as CO had been betting often versus check and he did it very mergy. So e.g. any overpair he would probably just bet and lot of other marginal stuff. Indeed he does bet 3/4 pot, SB call and I go for pot x-r. SB goes allin. Now set over set no big deal? Well yeah but SB called pre with K332ss low suit.

Same villain in this. So I open and both blinds call. BB is actually reggy player. Flop I cbet 3/4 pot and SB call. Turn half pot and called vs SB minraise in position. I kinda dont see much point to do anything else here. River he shoves. Now at least he had A high suit and connectivity. With ds that combo would be close to call actually.

3bet here vs EP short stack open. EP lead shove flop. For once winning this kind of allin.

This spot I am actually interested to study more. I decided to pot turn but I could definitely see some argument for half potting. I think we still want to keep betting anyway with 2nd nuts and set while unblocking fd. This was vs reggy player.

Positive vibes right? Like when you are winning? For others it is negative vibes :f_biggrin: Good luck from Estonia

This was the session review on one of those nasty sessions I mentioned about couple days ago. Went through some of the biggest pots:

PS: Just changed video to public so not sure if its visible right away.

This is how pots can get quickly out of hand on gamble happy tables. At least one opponent had somewhat reasonable holding.

This one I were curious to check if SB 3bet was good. So I open raised BU, SB 3bet, BB cold call, I 4bet and both call. Flop both check, I shove and SB call. Now solver wise 100bb stacks 9765ds would be similar EV with all three options, 3bet around -0.46bb. Interestingly 150bb deep 3bet becomes much higher EV play with around -0.15bb. Now I dont like his 3bet decision in this case because BB was one of greatest preflpp call machines I had ever seen. So in SB shoes you should expect probably at least 30% of cold calls from this guy.

Back to usual run yesterday. Went fine for while with some profit. Then one guy goes to full monkey mode. Squeezes KJ42ds versus three players, I 4bet AKQTds type hand. Flop comes A26ss, villain donk shoves and hits his flush. Then bit later same guy 3bet-call J662ss. Donk lead shoves QJx flop and hits river 2 to win Vs my AA. Jesus what bs. J662....

Good example of my run in this. I had literally been folding mostly with ice cold deck or kept missing mostly when I did get to play some hands. Then I finally get this spot:

Funny thing is his hand is really borderline if its good enough to call my cbet. Solver wise here it shows only 0.1bb EV so very marginal:

Though I think on J96 its probably even worse as J9 offer more connectivity. Anyway our opponent dont just call but minraise-calls and calls last on turn with 20% equity. One more of absurd  moments.

Classical spot in soft tables with 3bet creating 4way pot. Decided to pot flop but then turn is pretty much worst card possible. Only 20€ behind for pot of 110€. So would need close to 20% equity but with 4 outs to boat up that leaves only 10% or so at best. So villain would need to shove something that I have more than 4 outs against and that seemed very unlikely.

Played some hexapro on 10€ and 25€ limits. Run was cEV wise very bad losing several times with dominating hand in preflop allins but also hot as I won only 10x multiplier in 10€ and also 5x in 25€ so I think I got bit over 100% ROI for my shop points overall. These games seems really soft at least on these limits from small sample. Few hands:

This guy was not afraid of cold snap calling my shove over 20bb deep. Well versus limp my shove looks kinda capped. Its just kinda awkward to raise most of these hands small. E.g. lets say I raise to 70 and BU call. We have 160 pot with 270 behind. Gets kinda awkward SPR imo. So I dont necessarily mind to shove fairly strong hands either as you also get these imo really loose calls like KJo from BB.

This is kinda insteresting spot. Lot of players in heroes shoes tend to fast play but I think just calling make sense if we think opponent is solid. Reason being his line to lead flop here is fairly polarizing right away. Now of course I also open BU so range is really wide but still BB is not supposed to have basically any AA here. So how happy are you going for triple barrel even with combo like KKTx or QQTx?

Anyway lot of people fast play my hand in this spot. But it does depend what sort of player BB is. If you think he will do this sort of line with mergy range and is not willing to fold easily then there is massive amount of value in raising turn. But if villain is polarizing his range into straight or bluff then raise is very bad. At least if we think opponent is capable of triple barreling with blockers. As side note I also block KK and QQ and fd so I heavily block stuff like set+FD.

In river he bets half of his remaining stack so my shove is actually just minraise. This is kinda spot where we dont want to raise much bigger than minraise even if we had more behind. Reason being such big portion of villain value is usually nuts and its really hard to get action from weaker. Also point for river is if we very often raise straight at earlier point its going to lead our range being in tougher river spot facing aggression.

I would definitely raise here, you have a massive freeroll against bare JT. I believe that this is also the GTO-line, but BB shouldnt donk at all on this board. I doubt people are doing this in these games to often with blockers.

Yeah I don't think BB should really lead here but as opponent still seemed overall like fairly solid reggy type and he used big sizings I thought he probably has very polarised range. Versus most opponents I would also raise turn.

Some spots from today:

Tables were good on this early session today. All opponents are more or less recreationals in this hand. SB though had shown some decent lines. So when he leads flop in 4way pot here I thought raising would look really strong and he might fold some AK, 66 type stuff. So decided to just call having sd blocker and two bdfd. I would be more inclined to fast play weaker KK combos. Also player behind me was real button clicker so he might get some weird ideas occasionally. Now it might be that I just reflect my way of thinking on these guys which is not necessarily good idea. But I still kinda like just call with all the support I have.

Sometimes SB might show up with AA but that is just setup.

This one could be titled "the danger of bare top pair MW":

Decided to just limp behind pre for early position. Easy hand to call versus iso raise and does fine multiway but not so awesome facing 3bet if iso raising. Still would be call though. But yeah just fold in this BU players shoes on flop. These sort of peels are very expensive.
