i think i messed up my raise size on the flop, should have been bigger but in this case it wouldn't change the decision i had to make on the turn (i assume he would call on the flop anyway) - easy call (push)? or not so easy but a must anyway? i tought he wouldn't do that with a turned flush, and all the rest of his range i had crushed (i think we can exclude KQ as well) and even if he's got the flush i still have outs (obv not enough to call it an odds call but it doesn't matter that much since i thought the flush possibility is rather low) it looks like an easy call (push) after all, am i right?

I agree that the flop raise should've been bigger.

His turn bet is more than suspicious, only the biggest fish do that with completed flush. If you ask me, the most likely scenario is that he is trying to bluff his straightdraw as a made flush maybe he has one high diamond alond with something else.

Anyway, I don't think you should speculate about it too much. Imo you need much extremer conditions to fold AA Just get it in as soon as you can

Yeah, raise larger on flop. Turn is superugly, I guess I get it in since he might have flush draw + straight draw + pair combos a lot here, but I wouldn't be surprised to see non-nuts flush here a lot of time. Anyways you still have 22.5% equity against flush, and about 70% against QJ with flushdraw and need only 38% or something to make the shove/call. Although he can have made straight here as well... Some players slow play nuts straight even on drawy boards.

Would be a lot easier if you had raised more on flop, that way the pot would be larger and you didn't need that high equity. Folding might actually be correct.

i think there are way too many pair + draw combos, worse sets, 2 pair...some fish do play the nuts like this on the turn but i think we have enough equity overall to get it in.
