Raising the flop seems fine to protect against draws, i also like raising the turn again cause he can easily do that with hands that want to see another card (but i might make it bigger) and i can get value from them. although on the river it's really weird. not sure what worse hands he can do it with tho unless he is turning JQ or JK into a bluff

      lol @fish

I've seen this kind of strategy a lot from fishes, I'm still not sure what it means because it gets me to fold. It goes like this, bet a few bbs on the flop, bet almost the same amount on the turn, bomb river. And I saw it a lot, as I said I'm not yet sure if it's strong or a bluffing line that got popular with the fishes. (This happens when I don't raise, but just call the donkbets)

When fish donkbet small they usually have either TPWK (or 2nd pair) or a flush draw. In this case I think villain either hit his flush draw or hit 2 pair on the turn, then he wanted to induce another raise from you (which succeeded) by betting the same as on the flop. He didn't want to scare you on the turn (fish logic) so he just called to donkbet the river.

The hands that you beat, imo, are the TPWK that didn't pair on the turn and now just have lower trips than you.

I´d raise more on the turn to 7$
I would not fold trips with good kicker against the fish, since he can always bet for value worse Ax hands or bluff
