90man SNG early stages -- play for stacks?

Oh hell no. You gotta build a stack in these SNG's. At least that's the way I play 'em, I hate having 10BB in the mid stages. Plus, 2BB with a 70BB stack is perfectly fine to play a specualtive hand on the Button. And I knew the blinds would probably call aswell sweetining the pot.

Well? Anyone else got something to say?

Re-read our articles, it's far superior to play tighter early on and let the other players knock each other out. Besides this, even in a cash game with no considerations to tournament life I would fold here with 53s without some very specific reads on my opponents. 53s is a bad hand.

As played on the flop, yes you have a great hand against most of his hands. Most of the time you have 9 outs + 3 outs or around 46% to win on the flop. That's awesome. Sometimes though you come up against a higher flushdraw, against which you have 30% chance to win. Sometimes you come against Ax :spade: in which case you're drawing near dead. As such, calling is superior on the flop, and probably calling turns.
