Call Turn. He could be betting with A4, Pocketpair or whatever. AT AK maybe. Getting 1:6 with 2pair outs and a gutshot and the chance to be still ahead it's not a fold. But on the River it's very ugly and against a taggish straightforward tag it's a fold. Against unknown i'll show this down. You should also keep an eye of his timing. Once he bets quickly 3 times he's got something better most likely. It's kind of a levelspot but your opponent should also perceive enough Jx in your range that he shouldn't be betting that many worse hands.

These spots are interesting. We've hit a pair, but it wasn't exactly "part of the plan". In other words, when we're counting our outs on the flop sometimes we don't expect a 9 to do us much good... but its still an improvement.

We're getting 5:1 on the turn and it seems like our K outs might be tainted now. Any T has a straight on K river.

However, its unlikely for us to be behind AND drawing thin. Theres only a few combinations of hands that have us in real trouble. (KJ:spade:, JT:spade:, TT-KK, KQo, JTo, AJ:spade:). We're ahead of AK, AT, and 88/77 and against the rest of his range we're drawing to a bundle of cards.

I would call again here and fold to a river bet unimproved. Many of these tight players will c-bet twice with any made hand or AK and then check back his AK, 88-, maybe TT.

If we improve to a K I would tend to check/call but its interesting. Checking should induce thin value bets against an aggressive TAG. Otherwise i would check/raise trip 9s, donk/call a straight.
