[FR] AJo flop fold

Your bet on the flop was not a c-bet but donkbet...you didnt have initiative preflop and so only be can make cbets...so since its HU you should be checking here pretty much always and go for either c/f,c/c or c/r. Leak like this is usually due to lack of concetration,too many tables or lack of knowledge...in any case itsa pretty huge leak and must be corrected to improve your game!

now to the hand...so check and then... its BU vs CO so 3bet is wider but with the read it may be slightly tigher than standard....still I would expect him to have a lot of worse Ax,Kx and even Jx hands...so I preffer c/c...with this type of hands its not really smart to c/r as it cant be for value(you cant expect many worse hands to call you down+you are not a favourite anyway) and as bluff is pointless as nothing will fold which is better

so...c/c is the best play here.

I don't agree with the assumptions he's got plenty of worse Kx Ax hands etc. And if he's got Jx type of hand then certainly QJs but a rock usually does not 3bet those hands and like kipperkalle said he used to just 3bet with premium hands so lets take a look on how we perform against a range consisting of premium hands.

This may even be too loose for a rock and given this result it's a check/fold on the Flop but it really depends what you mean by "rock". Rock for me is a guy with like 14/8 preflop or something being similarly weak. We don't beat many hands and have just a split against few. So against a rock i would not blame you for check/folding the flop but against random opponent i do check/call down on blanks.

Sorry, this equity thing is kinda new to me.

Am I right that you would call down because 1 out of 5 times I'd improve to a better hand? How am I still having the odds to call, flop but turn and river I don't understand.
