Meaning of Skooby Doo in archies 60s song 'feeling so good'

Hmmmm.....
I was a teen when the Archies were popular, but scooby-doo was never an expression any of us used where we lived.

mentions that "the archies" was created as a reaction to violence in cartoons, but that might be coincidence.

The site where I usually refer to for phrases -- http://www.phrases.org.uk -- says nothing about it.

Also appears to be rhyming slang for "clue"

There’s a character named Skooby-Doo in a tv show from 1963. Earliest I’ve been able to find.

Scooby-Doo was a dog in an animated series starting around 1969 -- I never watched it in the original, but my kids watched the reruns endlessly.
