if your looking for a re-raise with a raise of 120+4callers to the raiser then that would be 120*4+120+120+120 which is 840 so a raise of 900-1200 would of been suficcient without making you commit half your stack.

720.. but thats a really big raise at that blind level so thought I might aswell push n save myself from a scare card if I just raised and a couple of people called.. I'd be out of position the rest of the hand

When you are going to reraise, you want to do 3x the raise + 1 raise for each caller. So you had 3 callers, so it should have been 6x the raise, (6*120=720). Since 720 is less than half your stack, there was no need to go all-in here.

well i'd be inclined to think that it would b over preflop with a raise like that anyway seeing as though you push and they all folded.
Either way i think a raise was defiently the right thing to, but possibly not a push, your initail raising oppentent could of had easily had A,K. QQ+.

At this level of an SNG you want to protect your stack. Moving all in here would have been suicide. What if someone was slow playing AA or KK? What if someone had ace and a rag, and you went all-in, someone called and there was an ace, or even a king?

EDIT: After looking at it more, since the UTG was the raiserk, and he raised 3xBBs odds are he was holding something like A9s or similar. I think the all-in was a bit reckless, but you won the pot

He'd had KK the previous hand so I doubted he'd have another monster, maybe Ax or a small pp. I don't think anyone would have coldcalled with a monster either... I dunno if they would have even called a 720 reraise, but I guess my push was wrong

i'm not ever afraid of having the second best hand here, simply because in SNG, QQ is the nuts. pushing all-in is an option (as it always is with the nuts).

however, i don't think we maximise value in this spot. because we are so deepstacked (3000, compared to the raise of 120), i would not push all-in unless i had reads my opponents were really call-happy.

so i would raise to 720, and if they call me in position, so be it. bet/fold A high boards, bet/fold K high boards multiway, bet/shove any other boards :).

i never do that... Im usually the one who loses on the bubble even with an average stack

i ussually just get past bubble and get to only double my money, haha.

yep.. i hate just making ITM.. I'd rather take risks for a big win than play scared just to double my buyin
