preflop is not catastrophic, but I don't like it that much, 150bb deep a small 4bet is much better (a fold is fine too btw), no idea how dynamics play at nl10, but I would guess no one is happily 5bet jamming AK/AQ/JJ/QQ or whatever, sample size is irrelevant obv, but if we assume vilain 3bets 13% over an infinite sample, he will have a ton of airball in this kind of situation. so basically we 4bet to take the initiative (most important thing since we are oop), make him fold better hands/hands with equity (ATs or whatever) and to make a fucking point that he can't run as over. so that's preflop
flop is just so bad in every single way, what better hands you want him to fold and what worse hands you want him to call you with, we do have a ton of equity vs his range but you just isolate yourself against better hands so you kind of wasted your equity. best case scenario is sthing like T :diamond:9
wich is one combo, you are beat by every single hand in his calling range on the flop when you raise that huge and if he is remotely decent, AK should be the bottom of his calling range (I would prob fold AK there against most players). so basically your raise on the flop is very bad and it accomplishes nothing.
now how to deal with these kind of situations is a bit tricky, as played preflop I would prob play it very differently against different vilains, but if we assume that he is somewhat decent lag I would just call/call fold river unimproved (not too happy to call Q on the river though, depends on dynamics etc) another line we take is to raise flop 2.5x and bet 1/3 pot on the turn , jam river if we hit and bluff once on a blue moon on sthing like 9 on the river, or maybe on a complete brick, it is up to you to decide.
