I have won the 100EU token and will be playing the final for the package.

I was unable to play this week because of other commitments but I did find the time to look at the lobby.

MY Question is : If the package is worth 1500EU why was there only 1 prize of 7500EU in the lobby?

really good question , should be more easier to change to right prize pool, then write that 7500 is wrong, so i hope someone can give you a good answer at this one.

Hey mineriva,

My understanding is that the network provider (iPoker) creates the tournies and then skins decide to opt in or not. Obviously Poker770 have picked up the error as when you click on the tourney, there is a message in the information panel on the right hand side of the lobby which states:

The actual GTD amount is €1,500 not €7,500 as displayed in the lobby. 1 package is guaranteed and prizes are credited the following day in MPS package and tokens only.

There is also a similar message for the €21 Mega Tuesday tourney.

Thanx Lazz I missed that.

Will take a look the weekend when I play it but what does sound funny then is that when I looked there were about 30 Players (total of 3000EU Buyin) but only 1 prize. So I thought it was 7500EU with a very big overlay.

This means we either will not know the payouts or alternatively not get the payouts...

As for me I got there by playing from freerolls but what about the people that bought in or rebuy surely they must get value for their money.

was also geting to this tourney from freerolls, and yes we dont know how many places geting paid or how much the payouts is,,, in my eyes a really strange way to handle a tourney and to play without knowing how many places geting paid is really a strange feeling,, and really dont understand why poker 770 dont correct this, have been this way atleast since february...

tbh I would much rather have the 100EU

yeah i know, there is some other tourneys where you can use this tokens
just browse tourneys

Well I found the Monday Madness Omaha tourney and played it.

Ended 3rd and cashed 747EU which tbh is about how much I would have accepted in lieu of the package anyway.

(Dont get me wrong this is a great promotion but not for a family man in South Africa who does not get paid leave.)

I used to play the $50 freerolls on Poker770 when they were cash. (even lucky enough to ship it twice out of 800+ players ♠_biggrin: ), but I stopped playing them when they changed them to MPS tokens.

I live in Australia and like you, the package would be useless to me.
