Another week has passed, so we have a new quiz for you.

This week we focus on the concept of Protection Betting. Do you know what a protection bet is? Do you know how to protect your hand and against what? Then this quiz shouldn't be too hard. If you don't, you should go back to reading the strategy article linked above.

Quiz is a little bit short and must have more hands.

Yeah the quizs are a very good idea, please keep 'em coming! It entices you to reread the article as you need to your rep intact (I have none, but you get the idea)

This quiz is a bit short and 30 points for one question ^^...the easiest question... lol. I agree with Q5 which is the one I got wrong but I reckon I should have got 1 point for my answer You'll know which answer I mean, I know there arent a lot of outs but there are still some nonetheless, therefore......(insert my answer)

Anyway I enjoyed doing another quiz, keep em coming

53 points, but i disagree with question 9. I definitly bet here to figure out where i stand not for protection.
Also with question 5, slowplaying is not bad option here IMO, someone with weak ace after checked flop may bet you at turn because you obviously don't have strong ace.

Good quiz, covers many situations.

@Puciek On question 9 I was looking for the conti-bet answer, so I chose the bet for protection (also true with fishy Ax player) As for question 5, you can slowplay monster hands, a set is a strong made hand, I prefer to bet and then slowplay the turn to induce river bluffs, more so if it turns into a monster. The A on the board means one of 2 things... villian holds an A an will give you his tokens, or he doesn't, and won't continue, even if his air does turn into a pair. So value bet, he could also float you and bluff a scare card.

I don't say that betting it straight forward is a bad move, but that slowplay is ALSO a good move and set is a monster hand, especialy on non flush/straight board.
And with 9, i look here definitly to build pot, i got toppair + various draws and i'm willing to go broke on that so i'm going to bet it looking to get as much money in the pot as possible.
