[Closed] 2$ SnG AKo flush draw on the flop

Methinks posted in the wrong section... probably will be moved, but on the hand....

Preflop: good

Flop: You bet too small... even though you have trips you there are 2 spades on the board and you want to protect your hand against the flush draw. By betting 100 you pretty much gave a flushdraw odds to call... 2/3 - pot size would have been better... I would have betted 250 in this situation

Turn: Not a scary looking card but because villain called on the flop you need to be aware that he might be chasing a flush or just a pure fish... be here again should be 2/3 to pot size

River... I`m guessing villain showed a flush....

The lesson here is that if you had bet more aggressively on the flop you may have even forced him to commit his whole stack on the turn (if he would)... protect your hand, extract value from worse hands that would call.... but do not give him odds to call any draws... if he calls when he doesn`t have odds and beats you, that`s ok.... at these limits you will win a lot of big pots with players calling bets they shouldn`t and missing their draws...

Preflop is good

Make it around 250 on the flop... betting 100 is just stupid and giving your opponents awesome out to draw to whatever they want... Almost good enough for him to call his backdoor flush draw lol....

my line would be. 200 bet on the flop. Like 500 or something in the turn to defend againts a flush draw

I agree with this. We do not need to bet as much to protect our hand as normal, because even if he does hit we still have a redraw to a full house, however betting 100 is too small, and we miss too much value. So I like Jesus' betsizing.

River as played bet/fold and bet/call are both OK. I prefer bet/calling given the stacksizes.
