So here is my fancy play hand from last Saturday
Before villain folded this, he said in the chat "wow, you really have trips... never ever a bluff from weak fish"

My thought process:
I have noticed that on these dry paired boards half pot donks are very often just bluffs or other weakish hands that can't call a raise.
I was surprised that he called but I picked up some equity and thought it was good to keep repping a strong range.
OTR I was kinda lost. I don't have any showdown equity so only chance to win this is to bluff. I didn't believe villain would have anything super strong since he probably would have 3bet OTF or raised me OTT.

PS: Just have seen the first lesson podcast. Great concept, structure and ideas you present to us. Mostly really beginner things but still things to think about. I read about ranges, hand reading and all this stuff just to realize that it's the less advanced things what is important to optimize to not bring yourself into sick spots post flop oop with dominated hands for example. I think this Course, the BSS Beginner course with paxis (in german) and maybe few material of the strategy section for me is enough material to run over NL5 and be over break even @NL10.

Could 3b pre but I want to keep the UTG fish in. Flop is close, but I think that CO will cbet a lot of air on this board too.

Turn: no real need to bet way ahead/ way behind. Could bet for "protection" but I think that checking should be good too.

River: Villains top range is JJ. That is likely the only strong hand in his range, other than that he is capped. I think that he has more weak hands when he checks the turn than strong hands and he can't call a raise otr. We have some blockers(QT) and raising as a bluff should have higher EV than bluffcatching (imo) as he can still have something like QQ,weak Kx etc. that will all fold to a raise but we lose to if we call. vs passive reg I would just fold this river. Villains WTSD is only 20 too so he knows that fold button exists.
