The World Series of Poker will start in just a few days, but what makes this event more special for us compared to the past events is that we will be sending our own professional poker team.

Allanon86, Nazgul, PokerNoob and Trader will be playing under the PokerStrategy.com tag, so we can definitely wish them best of luck in Las Vegas.

How do you think our players will do over there? Do you believe they can come back with some bracelets? Maybe "only" some big cash finishes? Or maybe empty-handed?

Well depends how many tournaments they are gonna play, but the variance in most of those is so big that I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt cash at all.
Let some1 take down the ME though!

I think they should do everything they can to be in top form(exercise, no alcohol, no distractions, meditation, sleep well, etc) and be able to play their A-game; if they win any $ it will be a bonus _biggrin:

They should just give 100% and do the best they can.

I don't want to add any pressure, but all PS eyes are on you guys

GOOD LUCK!

Edit: btw, what's their real names so we can look them up on the wsop?

Hey TheBrood,

Team PokerStrategy.com is:

Robbie "RobbieV" Verspui - Team Manager
Tim "Nazgul" Kahlmeyer - Player
Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher - Player
Moritz "Trader" Schmejkal - Player
Tobias " Pokernoob" Reinkemeier - Player

I hope it's all clear now :f_p:

Best regards,

Hi,
I think PS team is definitely better than big portion of fishes and mediocre players in WSOP, but why put so much pressure on them. This is the first time in the biggest tournament in the world and I wish them the best luck in it,but if they go back without bracelets,I will not be very disappointed and they still be good guys for me (especially Nazgul since I know him from videos).
I'm interested in their look inside into WSOP and will read their blogs.
They need big luck in WSOP so good good luck   . for u guys.We all play poker a bit and know that the best play is not every time reworded.

Who is putting any pressure on these guys? It's win a bracelet each or never return home.

Easy. :f_eek:

If our guys are predominantly digital poker players they will have the live format and live player interaction stacked against them. If it is their first time in a televised environment and the largest buy in theyve ever played, that stacks up against them as well.

I think it will take an above average run of cards to see them progress deep if that is the case.

(/pessimist)

Doesnt mean I wont follow their progress very closely and wish them all the best of luck

We should be getting updates here at PS.com I believe

They're all going to bust on day one when they're quad aces get beaten by a royal flush. :P

I can't really comment because I haven't heard much of them and they're play style and successes.

Why did PS choose these people out of their whole community?
