Hi all

Was I correct to just check on the river? Probably should have bet? I thought maybe my opponent was trying to pull a check-raise, as the ace on the river scared me a little. He only needs one ace to beat my Ks full of 8s.

EDIT: 8s fulls of Ks

Should also have bet more on preflop, was misclick.

Blockbet/valuebet about half the pot is right here I think. And on flop/turn - 3bet more. If he makes such a weird bet, you can just bet 3/4 of pot like he has not done anything.

Raise more preflop (0,25$), raise more flop (0.4$), raise more turn (0.75$).

You can bet river for value for about half of the pot - if he called you to the river and now spiked his ace he would lead out most of the time and didn't wait for a check/raise. But check behind is also fine if you feel he's tricky or you want less variance.

Hello,

Preflop: Raise to $0.25.
Flop: Raise more, ~$0.50.
Turn: Raise more, ~$1.20.
River: You can likely bet smallish for value.
