The $50 + $100 starting capital is the way many of us started our poker journey. Some of you have come a long way and made a nice profit because of it, while some unfortunately went bankrupt and had to deposit.

Where is your starting capital now? Is it part of a nice bankroll? Are you struggling to make a profit? Did you go busto and had to deposit? Tell us your story behind your starting capital right here!

"decent" or "nice" bankroll is subjective

Started in November and after playing only about 5-10 9-man SnG's a week have almost tripled my starting capital.

Was on a horrible downswing last week (due to bad play), so I took a few days off, re-read the strategy and psychology articles and have come back with a vengeance this week.

Lost it all in SNG's, nl5 and couple rebuy tourneys. Now deposited and having as new start right from nl2. Won't climb higher limit without a 100 usd bankroll.

Had an initial downswing past $40 but I'm now back at $49, which is break-even-ish in my book.

Building my bankroll slowly, but I'm close to start SSSing at NL50 by now.

Got to about 130, lost 50, took 50 out to get pissed and rebuilt up to 70+ now. Can't go broke at micro levels so should be able to get pissed again next month.
