What do you think about 3betting the turn? I think villain is pretty often raising for free sd and even if he's got something, i have plenty of outs. Nice move or fishy?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
Limit Holdem $2(BB)

MP3 28 / 21 / 1.7 / 43 / 57% won SD when raise Turn

Hero is BB with K♦ Q♦

fold, MP3 raises to $2, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls

FLOP ($4.5) 9♦ 9♠ 2♦

Hero checks, MP3 bets $1, Hero raises to $2, MP3 calls

TURN ($8.5) 9♦ 9♠ 2♦ T♣

Hero bets $2, MP3 raises to $4, Hero ???

Hi!

There is nothing wrong with flopraise since with FD+overcards your equity here is quite decent. But on this board you practically have 0 FE against better hands and you will also face another raise(mostly on turn) where you equity will decrease when unimproved.
Basically what Im saying is that you have too much SDvalue even with Khigh as you beat all Qx,Jx hands and I would preffer more SD bound way of playing this hand and calling down on good no-broadway cards or sometimes even blufraise turn since now you have much more FE against small pockets or Ax hands.

As played I dont like your 3bet here. This is really not a good board for freeSD raises as its fairly dry and when you think he is semibluffing you again have too muchSD value and should go for calldown.
But in general when he goes for this call flop/raise turn line on such a board he has soooooooo many better combos in his range(overpair,Tx,9x) that against most players on these limits I would just call and fold when ui.But when you think he is capable of rebluffing with QJ/78s/FDs/... you can make a thin call on blank river and take a note when he shows you something strange.
