Hi, I nrecently re-installed elephant, and I've basically been having one problem after another. Today, I installed elephant 0.93 and when I go to hand histories, it asks me to make a new database, so I enter the pasword only to get this failure: FATAL : 28000 : password authentication failed for user

please try version 0.94 as soon as it is released. Also, this message " password authentication failed for user" tells you that either your username or your password is wrong.
You have to enter the same credentials you created during the installation of psql.
that's the point, I've used the same username and pasword, over the past two weeks I've been trying everything and everything to get elephant going, so I've installed and de-installed both version 0.88 and 0.90, both times using the same combination of pasword and username, and it worked both times.
Please try uninstalling postgreSQL and creating a new user / password combination.
Deinstalling PostgreSQL correctly
