Shove or call are both viable options. We are deep enough for set mining and we get also decent risk:reward ratio for shove and most of time 88 is also best hand.

Raise will make us quite close to be pot committed and 88 rarely has easy flop decisions.

would there be any factors in this setup that will tilt you towards flatting?

for example: playing against a station, more/less aggressive opponents etc?


always shoving against unknowns. would limp along for set-value if UTG was really tight over a decent sample or a reg that i dont see limp at t80 very often.

would iso-raise at lower blind levels or with only 1 limper, our hand is pretty strong to isolate especially from the CO.
