The question is not what to do in my spot but what to do in my opponents. At first I was a little angey (b/c of the results) then i realized i would probally go broke in my opponents shoes as well.
My opponents options:
1. Fold: way too weak imo
2. Call: Ok but there are often overcards on the flop and it is very difficult on the flop
3. 3b/fold: Well ok but i really dont like turning this hand into a bluff b/c it doesnt have card removal.
4.3b/call: Well ok, u get good odds and have ok equity
5. shove: kinda turns your hand faceup as like a low p/p or a Ahigh which does not really want action. tbh I am calling his shove with 88+, AJs+, AQo+.
I ran the numbers.
Lets say i ship over his 3b with 55+, KJs+, KQo+. AJo+, 40% equity
Let say I ship over him with 88+, AQ+ he has 32% equity
He need ~42% equity (based on pot odds if he 3b to 1500) so if he thinks I am shoving tight he cant call.
If I am shoving 33+, AJs+, AQo+ he can call though
