ok to isolate or is he to short? can I call his push knowing that he is probably on a wide range?

Yes you should call that push with those reads. Need about 36% equity versus his range so he need to be on range tighter than 10%. Also if you decide to raise him you should be prepared to call his shove with these stacks.

I prefer to fold it preflop with his stack size. When he limp/shoves why do you think he does it with a wide range? Standard fold to the shove for me.

dont iso this wide. limp behind would be fine if he was deeper. but the implied is not good with his stack so fold pre.

and fold to the shove
