hi,

its a clear shove pre.
thought ingame that i am to deep, but against my villains it should be pretty fine without traps reads. thought folding is right because the pot leaks deadmoney.

I think raising to ~325 would be best here... we have position and can get away when sb wakes up with a monster...

why? if i raise and cbet i am committed?

50+100+100+325+225=800 -> cbet 500 > 1800
t1935-325=1610-500=1110
-> so you got 1110 left in a 1800 pot. thats a tight fold because you won´t flop that often that good to go broke with 99.

i think the argument that he could probalby have a monster, can happen to everybody everytime and you can´t read setups.

hope you understand what i ment

thank you and hope you don´t misunderstand my probably ruff english. just try to understand why do you think that raising here is better.

having ~1600 effective stack on a flop where the pot is 800 is fine... We just have to be careful about how we'll play the hand after that..

and the main reason for raising rather than shoving is that we can get away if the sb or bb have a monster..

the other judges might have a different opinion on this tho..

It should be +EV to shove this (of course depends on mp1's limp range) but raising is probably bit more +EV. I'd make it 350-400 and c-bet ~400 on pretty much any board. Postflop you pretty much have to call if he check-raises you if there is only 1 overcard. With ace on flop it is probably bet-fold. Shoving is definately easier but it might be good idea to get used to raise here. I think you can raise stuff like KQo, QJ and most aces here as well.

thanks

so you loosen up because they fold to much to cbet and we´re often ahead of their range.
