Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A :spade:, 6

Flop: (480) A , A :diamond:, 9 :spade: (3 Players)

Turn: (480) J :club: (3 Players)
BB checks,
Hero bets 240, BU calls, BB folds

River: (960) 3 :club: (2 Players)
Hero bets 320,
BU raises 300 to 620 (All In), Hero calls

Final Pot: 2200

Hero shows three of a kind, aces (As, 6h) --> (Ah, Ad, As, 9s, Jc)

p.s. was it good in BU position with AKo just call? easy push imo.

More of a question is wtf are you doing with your A6o raising from a HJ preflop.

BU would be better just shoving there IMO.

Your MP3 raise with A6o is kind of a loose, guess you just wanted to steal the blinds, where they tight?

i was playing really tight, bb and sb too, so i thought it's good spot to steal, if any shove i just fold. and if sb/bb calls i'm c-bet 1/2 pot on flop.... :f_grin:

imo
if you was tight till than in the game and SB and BB were decent players, its ok to open x2.5/fold to push, but in these 2.25 this case is rare, so i dont like A6o. Maybe A9s.
Anyway on flop think you are destined to go to the end with it.

Fold pre,

AS played everything is fine. I guess betting flop would be fine too.

A6o is pretty loose from the HJ.. It plays terrible post flop and you just get into a lot of problems raising it imo... loose and passive opponents will so often call you here with better aces and unless your really confident in your post flop game you'll be spewing chips too them way too often..

Depending on the aggression of our opponents I might bet out here.. If I feel like they're calling a lot post flop and might not give us much credit for an Ax here I would bet... But checking seems fine also..

Turn is a standard value bet.. make it 2/3 of the pot.. 1/2 pot is loosing us so much value here..

as played just shove river.. it gets us value from the same hands and it generally just seems weaker than leaving the opponent 300 chips to play the next hand with .. when he reraises it's an obvious call.. since pot odds are so good. but I think we are rarely ahead here.. but yea anyways it's a call..

btw results are unimportant and no need to post them

Hi all,

ambitious raise with the A6o to say the least. I don't even think I raise it in a top-heavy structure in a live tournament where everyone's a huge nit. So yeah I would say 110% fold preflop....
