I don't think it was necessary to shove 55. Even though you only have 12 bb left you still have a decent stack compared to the rest of your table.

I would fold and wait for better cards or better position.
I prefer blind stealing to keep myself alive.
In this position you have the whole table to act after you and UTG could be trapping.
But we'll see what the judge says.
with no antes i fold, with antes and a tight table and reads that utg can openlimp marginal hands i shove probably.
