My issue here after reviewing the hand is that I may have bet too high and not extracted value. UTG 2 and I played a few hands before and he usually 3 bets me.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP1$4.00:///////;MP2$1.67:///////;MP3$4.95:///////;CO$4.00:///////;BU (Hero)$8.14:///////;SB$5.13:///////;BB$2.25:///////;UTG2$8.85:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with 8:d, J:d.
UTG2 calls $0.04, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.04, SB calls $0.02, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.16) 8:c, 2:h, J:s (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG2 checks, Hero bets $0.12, SB calls $0.12, BB folds, UTG2 calls $0.12.

Turn: ($0.52) 3:h (3 players)
SB checks, UTG2 checks, Hero bets $0.50, SB folds, UTG2 calls $0.50.

River: ($1.52) 6:c (2 players)
UTG2 checks, Hero bets $1.45, UTG2 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $1.52.

Raise preflop, you have position and you're even deep with him.

As played your betsizing is good. You want to extract maximum value, you could argue that a riverbet of $1.32 would look a lot weaker, but generally betting close to pot is definitely the right way to go on the micros.
