Hello deivid2,

Since we 3bet him preflop and he even did a mistake actually to Call for just set mine us. I guess I'd still get it in on flop unless I have a good reason to think that he mostly only raises with very strong hands. He could easily do that there with even a TP, or maybe even with any kind of draw. Therefore I don't mind going broke there on flop as we did 3bet preflop.

Best regards.

but what do you see his range i see like that

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 30.773% 29.01% 01.76% 12063 732.50 { JcJs }
Hand 1: 69.227% 67.47% 01.76% 28052 732.50 { 88+, 66, AsKs, AsQs, KsQs, JTs, 98s }

so i don't like broke this flop i beat only TT and bluffs and nl10 i don't see verybigrasie for bluff rather minrasie but 4x rasie i thinks alwasys nuts this limit from reg.

Then don't 3bet at all, our plan with 3bet usually preflop is to get it in there. And actually I'd even 3bet there bigger like $1 for the reason that we are OOP. And of course the flop is rather a Bet/Fold but then again I'd ask why you don't just Call it preflop and play postflop, would be much easier. Often times we are turning our hand just into bluff while we play this way and he doesn't seem to be that passive either, he may easily even have buffs(draws) in his range. And I'd even put bigger range on him.

Something like that:
Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 50,363% 49,711% 1,305% 48,984% JsJc
Player 2: 49,637% 48,984% 1,305% 49,711% QQ+, TT, 77-66, AsKs, AsQs, A9s, KsQs, JTs, 97s+, 87s, A9o, JTo, 97o+, 87o

And of course we could also put like bluff-hands as well into his range. Would also be good if you would say as well his stealing range/fold to 3bet, then we could also imagine what's his range could be like.

Overall, would be good to know the image of yours and also what kind of style does the guy play. Without seeing him playing, it's hard to say the correct play here. Definitely overall, Bet/Fold in those spots are likely the safest since his raise is also kinda strong which indicates that he is sorta commit himself.

Couple of thoughts:

- What's his steal % and fold to 3-bet %/ fold to resteal %? That will help assign him a continuing range.

- Why are you 3-betting here? Do enough worse hands call to make this the best move? You can flat and keep in the range that you dominate (unless he virtually never folds to 3-bets).

- When you do 3-bet OOP I would make it larger and go to about $1, I don't think you need to make it any bigger than that though. As played he has odds to call with a pocket pair if he thinks you will stack off on the flop (calling $0.60 to win $9.40 - not the "call 20 rule" but he's IP in a 3-bet pot).

- To do the equity calcs, you need to assign him a continuing range when you three bet - is 89s really in his range here? If so, what about AJs?

- Assuming the range you've given him and no fold equity when he reraises you on the flop you're betting 8.55 to win 18.80 (excluding rake), so you need 8.55/8.55+18.80 = 31% equity to be breakeven so when you factor in the rake a shove is a marginally losing bet if your range is correct and you should fold.
