Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP3$9.02:///////;CO$11.06:///////;BU$16.60:///////;SB (Hero)$9.50:///////;BB$12.85:///////;MP1$11.53:///////;MP2$4.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:c, Q:d.
5 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, BB calls $0.30.

Flop: ($0.8) J:h, 9:c, 9:d (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.40, Hero raises to $1.20, BB calls $0.80.

Turn: ($3.2) Q:s (2 players)
Hero bets $2.00, BB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $3.2.

Opponent:12/8/2; fold to cbet 29%/WTSD 34% after 291 hands

Should i just bet/bet and fold to raise or play passive check/call?
Don't know why i check-raised here... Now i think that c-r only isolated me against opponents better hands.

Hello valancius,

Check/Raise doesn't really make sense there, you just isolating against better hands. He will rarely Call with a lot worse. I'd just bet myself there and likely as well bet the turn and don't try anything fancy

Would you Call a shove if he would shove there on flop?

Best regards.
