Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant.Base 0.96 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A♥, A♣
3 folds, Hero raises to $0,40, 2 folds, BB raises to $1,00, Hero calls $0,60.

Flop: ($2,05) 6♦, 5♥, 2♥ (2 players)
BB bets $2,05, Hero raises to $17,24 (All-In), BB calls $3,95 (All-In), Hero gets uncalled bet back (All-In).

Turn: ($14,05) J♦
River: ($14,05) 8♥ (2 players)

Final Pot: $14,05

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows (Ah Ac)
BB shows three-of-a-kind, sixes (6h 6c)

BB wins with three-of-a-kind, sixes (6h 6c)

Usually I just 4bet with AA, but since BB was 3betting me (I'm in position post flop) I was thinking maybe it would be better to just flat, and shove over his cbet on any flop? This time it looks it was bad idea but I want to now is this bad play or bad luck?

Hello Oly0909,

Preflop: I guess since we are against unknown I'd just 4bet and get it in, those players are just capable of going broke with a lot worse. But of course such a slow-play is doable.

As played
Postflop: Not much you can do as you planned to get it in on flop against him, he was just a bit lucky.

Best regards.
