With a set on this flop I should have bet higher for protection. In this case I don't think I could have folded after the raise on the turn. But how should I have continued the hand, if MP2 would have had a deeper stack (say $10)?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU (Hero)$10.51:///////;SB$5.00:///////;BB$5.00:///////;MP2$2.64:///////;MP3$2.76:///////;CO$1.61:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with T:s, T:d.
MP2 calls $0.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.22, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.17.

Flop: ($0.51) Q:c, J:d, T:c (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.38, MP2 calls $0.38.

Turn: ($1.27) 8:s (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $1.00, MP2 raises to $2.00, Hero raises to $3.00, MP2 calls $0.04.

River: ($6.31) T:h (2 players)

Final Pot: $6.31.

Results follow:

Hero shows four of a kind, tens(Ts Td).
MP2 shows a straight, queen high(9s 7d).

Hero wins with four of a kind, tens(Ts Td).

Hello StaringAtGoats,

Against that stack there is not much to do. Although I'd bet bigger on flop like $0,45 for the board being so drawy. But if we were like 200BB deep then I might consider Calling the min-raise on turn and reevaluating on river.

Best regards.
