I´ve been doing some thinking lately, at the moment I play NL25 at FTP and I always bet 1 dollar, 4BB.
So I started woundering, would it be better in the long run to bet 0.75 instead to minimize lost value ?

4BB from EP\MP and 3BB from LP seems to be a good plan. Slightly smaller raises when you have a wider range to keep the pot smaller when you're more likely to have a marginal hand.
i'd quite like to know what people think on this too.
I normally 4bb bet, but recently wondering what others do
Are there numbers to support one over the other or is this a personal preference thing?

Something I learned recently is that if you or your opponent make(s) only a small bet from Late Position, the Big Blind gets good odds to call. I think to a min-raise the Big Blind gets like 3 to 1 odds so not calling would be senseless.
