I was trying to steal the BB with my open raise from SB here. After BB called and I flopped top pair (3 of a kind on the river), I decided to continue playing the hand aggressively.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]SB (Hero)$7.83:///////;BB$5.39:///////;MP3$6.66:///////;CO$5.22:///////;BU$5.05:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with K:h, 9:c.
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.17, BB calls $0.12.

Flop: ($0.34) K:c, J:d, T:h (2 players)
Hero bets $0.24, BB calls $0.24.

Turn: ($0.82) 4:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50.

River: ($1.82) K:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.90, BB raises to $2.50, Hero calls $1.60.

Final Pot: $6.82.

Results follow:

BB shows a flush, king high(Td 9d).
Hero shows three of a kind, kings(Kh 9c).

BB wins with a flush, king high(Td 9d).

Hello StaringAtGoats,

I am more often inclined to Bet/Fold the river since there aren't just many worse hands or Kx type of hands which we beat there.

Best regards.
