Once you check back flop you cant fold your TPSK vs his 2 barrel and if I were you I might have even raised small the river to 9 or such.

The fact that he actually had a set is an isolated case as I think he can do this with lots of air, one pair + draw type hands.

he would valuebet worse hands+ h would very often bluff with air.
