Standard c-bet on the flop for me, can you explain why you did not cbet here because I hope to learn.

As played I'd bet turn

And yeah definatly bet/shove on river the way you played it.. soo many worse hands in his range

if you had that spot smt like TT I would say he rivered his set, but since you hold 66 I think it is usually just bluff or indeed slowplay monster, like KJ on the flop. Don´t really see him checking back turn too many times just Kx hands, since board is getting drawier and I doubt he would check bakc turn again with KQ/KT
So although you can shove and expect to get sometimes get called by worse hands I think a lot of times you see him folding or calling better hands
