[Closed] FR 0.02/0.05 - hit top pair with AJo against loosish player, board gets funny

hy would call the 3-bet on the flop and turn i would of played the same maybe just call the the 3 bet becouse you could be against a set small chances but fishes get sets to and the river call is ok.
i hate this kind of fish becouse it is harder to put him on a hand but on the turn you win against a lot of hands and still have outs for a full so the cap isn't that big of a mistake. looking forward to se a judge opinion on this .

You are going to play in position after the flop, so I would cap preflop here.
The guy looks like a maniac to me, but what was his preflop 3-betting range?

I would cap PF, r/c F, and then I would calldown from any turn other than A .
This way you are not paying him off when he catches a monster and he is still paying you if you are ahead. This does not extract maximum value from your hand against a loony, but maniacs are rally hard to play against because they increase your variance and are likely to put you on tilt.

You don't want to cap flop when you are in position imho.

With this turn card I would raise, because you are really holding a monster here. you have 6 outs for a nut fullhouse (and you are likely to get the River capped) and you have 9 outs for a strong flush. Even if you don't catch those cards, you are still probably ahead.

My line would be to r/c T c R.

I recon you have missed your cap preflop and you should have not capped flop or turn, but let's see what the judges say.

if you've seen him capping with overcards, it's ok to cap on the flop.
On the turn after his 3bet i preffer to calldown.

if you know he is a maniac and loose, you can capprf too.

cap flop with your read is fine. he'll probably get in the maximum anyway on each street so its the best play to raise it up to the max and hope that he's either going for a checkraise or for a donkbet. the second case happened and with those tendencies cap turn is alright with top 2pair and the flushdraw. i would raise the river again if hes tilting as much as you told.
