[Closed] AQs from MP3

Flop I like the bet since pot is big and you want to make them fold as much as possible and you may even have the best hand and even if not you still have 6 outs.

Turn I like b/c very much again. COs call on the flop is rarelly Tx or even any 66-99(as he should raise it) and 5x,4x are really that likely overcalling hands. In addition pot got quite big so you want to protect your hand which in any case has good equity. Another option is to c/c which is also reasonable but sure is very readable(as you basically always have AK or AQ).

You should never c/f or b/f in this spot since your hand is very good for the odds you are getting.

River is very though and sure 2 is not really a nice card but then again... we are getting 1:8,7 which is a lot and this is microstakes where many players are bad so they can easily have hands like 67,78,KQ,89 or even some random Ax,Kx that they are turning into a bluff. I find it very hard to fold this and imo its probably a slight mistake to do so. Another aspect is that players on these stakes are generally very passive with weak SDvalue hands(like 4x,5x in this case) and they often check these behind...which makes their range even more polorised(between value hands where 4x,5x and Tx(these usually raise flop) have to be discounted and bluffs where we can find quite a few combos)

I don't usually Cbet with 3+ people in the hand, but I thought that the board was dry enough to give it a go and try and take it down there.

For me the turn card is the most important, and I thought that betting might scare any 4x or 5x hands out, and also get another couple of bets in the pot should he carry on and one of my 6 outs land.

The River decision you describe is way too complicated for me. I just thought "what does my A high feasibly beat? Okay c/f it is..."

Thanks for the excellent analysis though - the last paragraph shows that I have a bit more work to do when analysing hands.
