Villain = total fish, dropped 3 buyins within 15min and was playing like an absolute maniac. In an earlier hand he called my turn check/shove with 86 on A852 board.
Villain stats are 45/37/19.4% 3-bet; 4.6 agg; 40% fold to 3bet
Once I flop top pair, I had full intentions of calling down 3 streets no matter what cards came, but when he checked the river, I felt like a small value bet was mandatory. His c/shove is obviously extremely polarized, but I feel that because of my smallish river bet, he perceives my hand to be of medium strength so he may be able to push me off it. I feel that with his monsters, he would simply bet, bet, bet and maybe overbet shove the river, but not c/r.
