"Do not play a hand of limit if you have 6 BB or less in your stack. If you can, rebuy. If you can't rebuy, drop down. If you can't drop down, redeposit. If you can't redeposit, quit.'

This wording is supposed to be something called Tzett's Law. It came to me in a dream. (Yeah, isn't it great that I'm now _dreaming_ about poker.) Is it a real rule or is it just some nonsense my sleeping brain cooked up?

Google returns nothing -- but I suspect you knew that.

Mr Tzett disagrees with Dan Harrington, who has specific strategies for MTTs when you have less than 5 BB.

You are basically push/fold.

At 6BB, you won't be able to buy into any cash games at all, so redeposit would be mandatory.

If I am at a ring game table, I top up my stack when I drop below 80% of the max BI

Thanks for the reply, but I think the Law relates to limit cash.
