Yep limping KK is very bad.
Now you have to ask yourself if you played the hand in the optimum way?

Bet way larger on turn and river, like pot on both. They don't fold.

A question is, if you are in EP how big a chance of a raise by an opponent do you need to make limping with KK more profitable than raising (and often just getting the blinds).

limp/reraise from EP pretty much says u have KK/AA.so its bad ...
atleast in low stakes

At least getting the blinds is better than having what happened to Villain that hand happening to you...

I'd rate the chance of a raise as being not that big, what's more likely to happen is to have all kinds of drawing hands trying to get in for cheap.
