Kenny Tran is known as 'Sick Call Kenny' for a reason, but what do you think about this one? Great read? Hero call? Reckless? Genius? Take a look at this week's video and let us know what you think.

:)

I like it but I think what made it easier is how Quick villain bet on each street, like there was no reaction to the cards when, potentially, turn and river - with 4 flush and paired bd - could change who is ahead significantly. Fact that he bet without thinking makes bluff more likely imo.

im no live pro but the guy seemed to be trying too hard to look confident

Great call i guess but i think we should remember for every amazing hero call there are probably 3 more epic fail calls.

You should blank the cards out so we don't know what they hold.

I prefer watching without the hole cards in view, you can play along.

Um... how do we decide whether it's a good call without knowing hole cards? Guess the hand is a different game ;)

During play. Show when hand is at showdown.

I like his reaction best!

Sick soul read...Poor other guy :)

Feels like his turn and riverbets were too rushed, especially the river was questionable. Maybe thats a major part of the reason why he called?

He could easily have a set though, but sick call indeed.

river call was a lot easier, think about it, there is so few hands that he can value bet on 3rd straight street. Giving that he is an amauter, he would be tight with his value bets on the river, so even KK w king high fl he would check after the board pairs, and induce bluff or just get to showdown cheaper. So i guess the turn call by kenny was a lot sicker than river .

Alternative plan: kenny might have called the turn to bluff the river if it was checked to him, but after 3rd street lead out something was fishy and that was a good spot to make some hero calls.

kenny probally had a tell on the other guy.

hmmmm I don't know. We all make several bad calls and when we make a hero call that actually is right it is remembered as great. If you call often enough you bound to catch someone bluffing eventually. If the guy had anything the hand probably would have been forgotten, so I think it is more down to selective memory

just my opinion though :f_biggrin:

They edited the footage, he could have taken 5 minutes before every bet but they obviously don't show that on TV.

this is sicker

Either it's sick editing or Kenny just missed out on a fucking shit ton of live tells that the guy with aces gave out. I counted 4 individual ones, all of which make me jump ship in game. Wp sir

edit: talking about q2 hand
