The hand positions in Equilab are labelled UTG, UTG+1, ..., BB
Does this imply that results are weighted according to position?

It seems that way.
As a test, I did the following:

       Equity     Win     Tie
UTG    34.10%  33.69%   0.41% { AKs }
BU     65.90%  65.49%   0.41% { KK }

Then reversed the positions:

       Equity     Win     Tie
UTG    65.89%  65.48%   0.41% { KK }
BU     34.11%  33.70%   0.41% { AKs }

It does not seem to matter which absolute positions the hands are in, just the order.

Is the tiny difference a deliberate bias based on position, or is it an artefact of the math used?

Just curious,

Hi,

No, the position has no effect on the results. The positions are listed to help you do enter the data and to use our added charts in the Equilab.

The small difference you see is just because of different rounding. The difference is so small that it makes no difference in your play. You won't make a different decision because of 0.01% equity.

Cheers
Hannes
