I thought about it, I pretty much thought he MUST have a flush. I called hoping I'd have the higher card in my hand but that's pretty unlikely I assume?

Actually I often bet when the flush completes in this spot but decided not to this time. I think that's the better play. If I bet 1/2 the pot there and had to give up I'm better off.

why you dont cbet the flop?
i cbet it on a flop
and give up on other streets
do You think that he bets pot with 2,4,5 of :diamond: ?

Hello Edukator99,

If he didn't want to bluff it on turn then he ain't gonna bluff it on river either. You can very likely just fold your hand and give it up. Rather CBet yourself the flop than make such a Call on river.
